By the way, I have been asked by my friends especially from Nigeria to teach them dutch. Ik spreek goed Nederlandse! leuk he! (just wrote in dutch yeeh)
I have also been asked alot to create my videos in dutch. I have given most of my non- dutch friends coaching on how to learn the dutch language fast, my tips includes the folowing – read dutch books, newspaper, watch dutch television programmes, leaning from YouTube and so on.
I find learning new languages fun, I do love to learn spanish and italian languages as well.
Hey lovelies , I hope you all are doing well. I recently created a video ( see below) to inspire you on how tolook morefabulousand some heathcare tips. I used to work at de.tuinen and Kruidvat as assistent drogist. During my working experience with these prestigieus companies, Ilearnt alot about how to give customers advice related to oral hygiëne, Hair care and skincare.
I purchased lots of vitamines from de tuinen; Etos and Kruidvat . Vitamins are essential for the body such as vitamine a, b,c, d, e and k for healthy skin, hair and body.
I also gotsomevitamines for free from my awesome doctor friend.

Being good to yourself sounds easier than it looks, many of us are living lives that are busy, complicated and we often spend time juggling many balls, I for one know that is my life on a regular basis, however I find that I can end up feeling like a headless chicken and there are moments where I just need to take a step to strip back and really focus on ME, so here are some of the ways that I like to treat myself just like I should.
1.CREATE A VISION
Mood boarding, is something I’ve just started doing, if I’m not clear on what I want and how I want to be treated how can I be successful at being good to myself. I love to get a range of magazines, websites and experiences to put an ideal vision of what I want my life to look like. This is a recent activity but one I know will make a massive difference to me. From how having a vision on how I want my time to be spent to how I want my body to look nothing is off limits, as they say without a vision the people perish, and I really believe it is a fundamental step to being good to ones self. I also use Pininterest nd Tumblr website to get inspirational ideas and I do creat moardboard on these sites. I love to buy art works with motivational text on it.
2.EAT WELL
Many of you know that I’m a massive foodie, it helps me be more organised as well as takes up a lot less time than thinking about what to eat every day. My favourites are all thing’s grilled chicken, fish along with lots of beans, rice, sweet potatoes and broccoli.
3.LOOK AFTER MY BODY
We all know that we should be doing this but are we, I have found that having a gym membership often meant that I had money going down the drain constantly, however having just decided on a personal trainer it has really taken my exercising experience to the next level. I also exercise myself. I do 100 sit ups every morning when I wake up and also sit ups before going to bed. It makes me feel agile and ready for the day.
4.LOOK AFTER MY SKIN
My skin is something that has recently taken a back seat with me lately as my priorities have been elsewhere. But with noticeably seeing changes that I wasn’t so happy with I realised that a new routine needed to be put in place Asap. I love the idea of having a simple skin care regimen that doesn’t require more steps then are necessary. From time to time I use acids such as glycolic and lactic to deal with my stubborn skin care issues, but obviously I can’t use these daily. With the new range from NIVEA it has been a great option for consistent cleansing that is deep but also provides touchable softness. I’ve used the makeup wipes for those lazy nights, the cream wash for a quick in shower facial wash and the lotion for a gentle cleansing massage. When my skin feels right all seems right with the world.
5.PRACTICING MINDFULNESS
Finally mindfulness is my final piece of the being good to myself mantra. Taking that time in the morning, to reflect and be thankful make’s all the difference. Everyone deserves 5 minutes to take a break to reflect, don’t you think? 5 inutes journal by Mimi Ikonn is also a great book you can use for your personal reflection.
I created a video below on my skin care regime and also advice on how to be happier. I hope you are inspired.
With the dawn of June, comes the expectation of summer around the corner and I for one am excited. They say summer bodies are made in the winter.
Now I’ve got you all pumped, today I’ll be spilling the tea on how to get yourselves ready for the season ahead, top to toe.
Face
Let’s face it, getting your face in fabulous order is a surefire way to prepare for Spring. 10 Minute Mask from Origins is an absolute must for taking control of your complexion, combating skin problems and banishing impurities, in a simple step. Masks like this are a really effective and fast acting way to begin the transformation process. Also, I usually pamper my face by washing it properly at least for 15 minutes each time I go to bath with a face cleaning soap, not just your usual bathing soap from Nivea, Dove, A&H, Kruidvat.
Less is definitely more when it comes to makeup. For that summertime transition, put down the brown palettes and say hello to pink flirty colours. Aim for lightweight formulas that add a blush of colour to the face. I usually use lipstick from Loreal, Mac, Ysl, and Dior. These are great brands and their lipstick last very long and are very pretty.
Body
Goodbye sallow – hello glow
To achieve a super indulgent extra radiance boost, the Pure Gold Collagen 10-day-programme is simply amazing. This beauty supplement aims to fight the first signs of ageing from within, by aiding in collagen production in the deepest layers of your skin. This leaves it looking firmer, plump, brighter and more youthful.
For a gradual boost, I’m a huge advocate of exfoliating and bath salts like the Dr Kniep body scrub, body scrub from Lush, or from the The body shop is a must have!!! are a relatively easy, low abrasive way to do this. They work by removing dead skin to increase cell turnover, which releases the inner glow.
Scent
For perfume, I suggest going a little more understated than normal this summer. One million from Paco Robanne is great, you may use parfumes from Ysl, Hugo boss, Gucci Guilty and dior are great perfumes for summer. If you are really on tigh budget and cnt afford to buy perfumes from Douglas, Ici Parijs, Mooi Parfumerie in The Netherlands, You may want to visit Parfum Star in Hoogstrat Rotterdam for very affordable perfumes or go online and shop at parfumenia!!!.
Hair
There’s something about the warmer weather that often makes us ladies want to switch up our hair. Experimenting with semi-permanent colour on extensions is my thing, so for those of you with colour treated hair – like me – you’ll know that maintenance is everything.
So there you have it, my top to toe readiness suggestions for the upcoming season – watch out Summer we’re coming for you!
Please check out my inspirational video below on how you can style yourself this season.
