Hello, my beautiful friends and family! How are you today? I hope you all are doing great. I personally love cars, especially exclusive cars such as Ferarri, Porsche, Lamborghini and more. I once had the ample opportunity to visit Van Vliet trucks in The Netherland for a car tour. I really enjoyed it. Many of you have been asking me a whole lot of car-related questions. I am presently not a driver, but 12 years ago, I used to drive two cars, a very pretty Chrysler pt and a cool Grand Cherokee car in Nigeria. I really enjoyed driving both cars than in Lagos, Nigeria.

9 Top Universities For Your Master’s Degree In 2020

Hello, my beautiful friends and family! How are you today! I hope you all are doing well. Are you planning to start a master’s degree studies soon? Or is your wife, brother, sister, or girlfriend planning to start a master’s degree studies soon in Europe?

Below are top universities to study with;

  1. University of Dundee
  2. University of Edinburgh

  4. The Vrije University of Amsterdam.

These above-mentioned university has a great reputation and very fare to their students. During my master’s studies at the University of Dundee Scotland, I was a student mentor, I coached students on how to achieve good grades, healthcare advice, career advice, job-seeking advice and more. I have been to vrije university Amsterdam 11 years ago to make enquires regarding starting a masters degree program and also gained admission with the University of London (Oxford University) over a decade ago, I could not go ahead with the studies then due to personal reasons.

Below are some great advice for newbies (so to speak) or persons who wish to start a masters degree study;

  1. Apply on time
  2. Make sure you inquire from the university all their terms and conditions regarding their admission
  3. If you wish not to go ahead wit studying with a particular university, please defer your admission on time
  4. Admuir in Scotland has great affordable accommodation in Scotland
  5. Make use of Airbnb and affordable hotel accommodation when you travel to a new country for urgent accommodation or if you have to fly often to and fro to the country you reside and to your university
  6. Volunteer to mentor student
  7. study hard and have a genuine interest in the field of study you choose
  8. Be very polite and kind to your teachers and colleagues
  9. Attend all lectures and have fun while studying

I hope these tips were very helpful. I would like to use this opportunity to thank all my lecturers then at the University of Dundee, all the students I met then, my employees then during my studies and Admuir accommodation for providing such a great accommodation, for being so accomodating, flexible proving and learning hub for the student. I am also thankful to all my lecturers at Anambra state University in Nigeria during my 5 years of Biochemistry studies, to all my sponsors, and also a big thank you to my lecturers, mentors during my studies at Inholland University in The Netherlands and at Rotterdam University of Applied sciences.

Self Employment Ideas For 2020!

How To Communicate Effectively!

Hello, my beautiful friends and family! How are you today! I hope you are doing well! Today I am going to share with you simple ideas for simple effective communication. Some persons do have challenges with communication due to language barriers, cultural background, misunderstanding, approach, attitude and other reasons. There are two means of communication, formal and informal communication. In order to communicate effectively, you need to practice the following;

  1. Be kind and be a good listener!
  2. Be polite, calm during formal communication. This tip may be very helpful for the sales force.
  3. Be bold
  4. Do not be anxious when talking on the phone or during face to face communication ( Have your anxiety in check)
  5. Do not be very suggestive when communicating. For example, when you are at a workplace and you are not very happy about the behavior of your colleague, do not indulge in acts that may have the other person seems awkward, or nervous. Express exactly what happened or your dissatisfaction with your colleagues well to the manager.
  6. Be forgiving, do not hold your grudges too long against someone when they communicate ineffectively towards you.
  7. Listen to good audibles that would help you improve your negotiation and communication skills.
  8. Have fun! You know why? No one is perfect with communication!
  9. Attend a course to help you improve your communication skills. I am a professional secretary. I took a one-year course online study with Penn Foster in Pennsylvania Scranton U.S.A. earned my diploma in 2008.

I hope these tips inspire you on how to improve your communication skills. My take home for you guys is never ever judged a book by its cover! Tend to know someone better and try to understand the main reason why people do what they do before judging or before drawing conclusions.  The second piece of advice is that, if something or your present job is dissatisfactory, instead of wallowing in negativity, see it as an opportunity to start something which is greater and better!

Digital marketing is very important for all businesses, ( small or large scale enterprises).  During my master’s studies at the University of Dundee, I conducted intensive research on the digital marketing of the Hilton Hotel in The Netherlands. How To Care Of The Elderly In The Netherlands!

Hello, my beautiful friends and family! How are you? I hope you all are doing well. This is a requested blog post. The elderly persons in The Netherland need lots of care and attention. Persons above sixty years old are considered the elderly. The elderly persons who are well cared for tend to be happier and experience a longer life span. Elderly persons who are isolated and neglected tend to experience sadness, hopelessness, loneliness, heart failure and other disturbing health issues.

In The Netherlands, there are a lot of elderly persons. During my thesis research period with Rotterdam University of Applied science, one of my colleagues conducted research regarding loneliness amongst the elderly in The Netherlands, he found out that most elderly persons amongst his research population are very lonely.  Some of the reasons behind the loneliness of the elderly are due to the fact that they do not have frequent visits from their family members and friends, they are not independent and so on.  I have had the ample opportunity to have worked for some elderly persons in The Netherlands and in Scotland, then I was working with Allevo and Elder respectively.

In order to care better for the elderly and make them happier, the following are recommended;

  1. Visit the elderly often, at least every day of the week.
  2. Do not make them stay indoors all day for months without making sure their friends and family members visit them.  The elderly need company, they need someone to talk to, drink a cup of thee with or coffee and share laughter with. Isolation is very bad and unhealthy for the elderly.
  3. Take the elderly for a nice work in the park, children’s playground or to a nice restaurant for a decent dinner!
  4.  Hire help for them
  5. Help them with their daily activities such as self-care, personal hygiene and so on especially for the elderly with mobility issues.
  6. Have breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day. Eating alone can be very boring for the elderly
  7. If the elderly is suffering from acute arthritis, rheumatism, hire a physiotherapist or a professional masseuse to help them ease their pain.

Review Review Review Review!

Hello, my beautiful friends. How are you? I hope you are doing well. I have been reviewing makeup, fashion items, cosmetics and moreover a decade now. I have received gifts and items to review on my blog such as wristwatches, headphones, phones, perfumes, clothes, lingerie and more for reviews. How To Become Business or A Beauty Consultant!

Hello, my beautiful friends and family! How are you today? Today’s blog post is inspired by my frequently asked question. Many of you have been asking me, Ekene why are you not working in a very big organization such as Shell, Exxon mobile, Philips or even with Heineken?

Most of you all know I earned my master’s degree in Marketing and Management from the prestigious University of Dundee in Scotland. I also studied and earned my diploma in Nigeria as a Biochemist, aside from that, I also earned my diplomas in skincare, makeup, perfumery, and cosmetics after one year of intensive studies with beauty partners in Rotterdam.

The answer to your question is that I enjoy coaching very much. I use most of the knowledge I earned from over a decade of studying as a beauty and a business consultant to coach others. I have helped so many small medium-size businesses in creating a digital presence, coached them on how to increase sales and also on improving marketing skills. For example, during my studies at the University of Dundee, I was a student mentor, I coached newly admitted masters student on how to achieve good grades, I also mentored several students at Rotterdam University of Applied sciences on how to build their very own website.

I also offer skincare and healthcare consultancy.

In order to become a beauty or a business consultant, you need to

  1. Attend a business school/ beauty school in Rotterdam or in Scotland
  2. Be passionate about it
  3. If you do live in The Netherlands, you need to speak the Dutch language fluently in order to be able to communicate effectively especially with native speakers.
  4. Be able to learn some digital marketing skills such as advertising regularly online.
  5. Be able to build a website such as WordPress, blog regularly, update regularly on social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and perfect your SEO skills
  6. Create awareness
  7. Be a creative writer.
  8. Have fun consulting!
